Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead a core AI driven product focused on helping organizations securely find answers, insights, and decisions from their enterprise content.

This role owns product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a sophisticated AI and search solution, working closely with engineering, marketing, solution engineers, sales, and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate has strong product instincts, experience with modern AI powered systems, and the ability to translate complex technology into clear business value.

This position plays a critical role in shaping how enterprise customers adopt AI responsibly, particularly in regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, and government.

This product is part of Hylands Content Innovation Cloud (CIC), the companys cloud native foundation for unifying content, data, and processes across the enterprise. Operating within CIC means this role influences how intelligence is delivered consistently across products and use cases, balancing innovation with the governance, security, and compliance requirements of large organizations.



Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Roadmap Ownership

-Own and evolve the product roadmap as a living expression of strategy, customer value, and business outcomes

-Balance near-term delivery with long-term innovation in AI-powered search and decision support

-Connect customer problems, market trends, and business priorities into clear product direction

Customer Discovery and Validation

-Lead continuous customer discovery through interviews, pilots, and feedback loops

-Validate problem statements, solution approaches, and value hypotheses using real customer evidence

-Translate discovery insights into roadmap decisions and measurable outcomes

AI-Driven Product Execution

-Partner closely with engineering to define requirements for AI-powered capabilities, including search, retrieval, enrichment, and agent-based workflows leveraging modern approaches such as retrieval augmented generation (RAG), graph based retrieval (Graph RAG), and agentic orchestration where appropriate

-Guide execution from ideation through launch, iteration, and optimization

-Anticipate dependencies, risks, and technical constraints while maintaining delivery momentum

Market, Competitive, and Industry Awareness

-Maintain strong awareness of the AI, enterprise search, and intelligent knowledge systems landscape

-Track emerging approaches across generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, and AIassisted decision making

- Apply market and competitive insights to influence roadmap, differentiation, and positioning

Go-to-Market and Communication

-Partner closely with Marketing, Solution Engineers, and Sales to articulate clear product value and differentiation

-Support enablement materials, demos, release narratives, and customer-facing content

-Translate technical progress into outcome-focused messaging for internal and external audiences

Cross-Functional Leadership and Influence

-Serve as a trusted product voice across engineering, marketing, solution engineering, sales, and leadership

-Influence decisions through clarity, credibility, and data-driven reasoning

-Shape and publish thought leadership that clarifies product direction, market perspective, and customer value for internal and external audiences

-Mentor and collaborate with peers and cross-functional partners



Basic Qualifications

-5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager owning complex technology products Strong understanding of enterprise software and full product lifecycle management

-Ability to collaborate deeply with engineering teams and reason about technical tradeoffs

-Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and lead problem discovery through direct customer engagement

-Ability to think beyond feature delivery to product value, including positioning, pricing, and business impact, with a clear focus on building sustainable and profitable solutions

-Excellent communication skills with both technical and non technical stakeholders

-Strong analytical and problem solving skills



Preferred Qualifications

-Experience with AI-powered products, enterprise search, or data-driven platforms

-Familiarity with Generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, or intelligent content systems

-Experience building products for regulated or security-sensitive environments

-Exposure to AI evaluation, feedback loops, or learning systems that improve over time

-Experience supporting sales enablement, demos, or customer-facing engagements

-AI tools are used to rapidly prototype, iterate, and validate ideas, enabling faster learning and execution (beyond traditional PRD-only workflows)
