Responsibilities

The Clinical Outcomes and Data Analyst serves as the primary manager of data for Family & Children's (F&C) Services, supporting applied research, evaluation, and reporting initiatives for internal and external stakeholders. This role focuses on advancing data and analytics for F&C programs by gathering, documenting, and translating data requirements into specifications for F&C and enterprise reporting and integration. In addition, the analyst conducts statistical analyses of program outcomes to identify trends, inform operational and clinical improvements, and contribute to peer-reviewed publications. Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders, the Butler Center for Research (BCR), and Technology Services, the analyst ensures data is structured, analyzed, and delivered through solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in biostatistics, public health, data science/information systems, or equivalent experience (3-5 years)
  • 3+ years managing complex healthcare data systems, performing statistical outcome analysis, and building dashboards for clinical or program evaluation
  • Advanced in Power BI, SQL, statistical software (R), MS Office.
  • Proficient in statistical modeling, trend/outcome analysis, and translating data into actionable program recommendations
  • Strong dashboard development, data storytelling, and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration with clinical/research/IT stakeholders, and strong initiative and adaptability

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in supervision or leadership, including training and mentoring team members.
  • Ability to translate complex technical and statistical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Previous experience working in interdisciplinary teams within healthcare or research environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in health informatics, statistical modeling, and familiarity with machine learning concepts
  • Knowledge of recovery services, publishing processes, and higher education environments; prior experience with Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation practices is a plus.
