Join Aya Healthcare, winner of multiple Top Workplace awards! Under general direction from the Controller, the Senior Accountant prepares complex general ledger entries and account reconciliations. A successful applicant will have high-level knowledge of the application of accounting principles and accounting software, an above average understanding of the interrelationships among accounting and operational functions, and the ability to review processes, recommend, and implement improvements. - Compile and analyze financial information from multiple sources to prepare and review general ledger entries and document business transactions.
- Own end-to-end accounting processes to support Finance and key business partners.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements that drive efficiency, automation, and positive change across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial systems, tools, and processes, ensuring seamless integration and reliable data flow for timely, accurate reporting.
- Lead and manage accounting projects and initiatives across the business.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and perform variance analysis for multiple legal entities.
- Investigate unusual transactions and/or fluctuations and determine appropriate accounting treatment for income statement and balance sheet accounts.
- Oversee designed scopes of work performed by offshore team members as part of the month end close process.
- Maintain a strong internal client-service mindset with a focus on responsiveness and partnership.
- Support fiscal year end audit and other ad hoc projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting(required).
- 5+ years of experience in general ledger accounting and/or Big 4 public accounting (Big 4 experience preferred).
- CPA license preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge ofGenerally AcceptedAccounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with large ERP systems (Oracle Fusion Cloud preferred).
- Aptitude for problem solving and ability to make analytically sound, independent judgments within department/company guidelines.
- Advanced Excel and data management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make sound, independent judgements within company guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across disciplines and organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible andmaintainaccuracy, consistency, and quality in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
- Proven orientation toward efficiency, including the reduction of manual processes through automation.

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be$90,000to $140,000annually. The pay scale for this position may vary if applicantpossesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager's discretion.
