Your work will directly influence product performance, reliability, and overall user experience, positioning you as a trusted subject-matter expert and key contributor within a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
What You'll Do
As a vital member of the engineering team, you will contribute to key projects and initiatives by:
- Evaluating hardware designs for feasibility and identifying opportunities for feature customization to optimize final product builds.
- Developing hardware architecture and design validation strategies by translating product features into detailed specifications, requirements, and test processes for individual products and integrated systems.
- Selecting optimal components and intellectual property (IPs) to support future system performance and end-to-end solutions.
- Integrating complex hardware systems, subsystems, and components with other products, services, networks, and industry partners.
- Proactively identifying potential design risks, ensuring rigorous validation, and driving continuous improvement.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware issues by debugging complex, non-standard failures and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Building functional prototypes and designing critical hardware components (e.g., optics, lasers, cables, audio circuits, antennas) in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Creating essential design documentation and test plans that account for assembly requirements, operational guidelines, and cost constraints.
- Assessing design feasibility against product requirements and managing trade-offs across packaging, performance, power, and technology selection.
- Scoping and delivering hardware projects through close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
