Job Details CVOR Nurse -$50,000.00 Sign-On-Bonus (for eligible candidates) Full-time - Day/Evening shift - 10-hour shifts, start time 0630, 0700, or 0730. Monday-Friday but will require flexibility to work the Mid shifts and take Open Heart Call, as required. Position Overview: CVOR Registered Nurse - Open Heart Team Christiana Hospital is seeking a highly competent, experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with specialized Open Heart (CVOR) experience to join our distinguished cardiovascular surgical team. In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and cardiovascular specialists within a high-acuity environment focused on outstanding outcomes and exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical expertise, sound judgment, accountability, and a commitment to service excellence. Key Responsibilities Provide skilled, evidence-based intraoperative nursing care for complex openheart surgical procedures Collaborate effectively with surgeons and surgical teams to facilitate safe, efficient operations Ensure adherence to sterile technique, clinical standards, and best practices in cardiac surgery Support patients and their families with professionalism, compassion, and clear communication Participate in scheduled Open-Heart Call and demonstrate flexibility to support Mid shifts as needed Qualifications BSN preferred or Commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire can be considered with relevant experience. Current RN licensure required Three years or more Operating Room experience required Two-Three years of Open-Heart Team experience Compensation & Bonus Eligibility Eligible candidates with verified CVOR experience may qualify for a $50,000 signon bonus, paid over a 24month period. Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
