Position Title: Assembly Wage: $18.99/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday - Thursday) Unless OT than Fridays as well Motivated and reliable worker with hands-on woodworking experience using basic hand tools and working with wood materials. I've helped build structures and assist with home projects that required accuracy, measuring, and attention to detail. I value quality craftsmanship, follow safety guidelines, work well on a team, and am eager to learn cabinet assembly processes and company standards. Assembly Responsibilities: - Promote and adhere to all safety guidelines, policies, and practices. Immediately report all incidents, injuries or near misses to a Foreperson - Build cabinetry units according to the project specifications - Work efficiently and collaboratively to ensure all deadlines are met - Use all basic hand tools safely and competently - Read and interpret design drawings and production documents - May cross train to perform other duties Requirements For Assembly: - Good communication skills - Organized and detail oriented - Maintains proper attendance - Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation - Respectfully takes direction from Manager - Enforce and practice policies to establish a culture of health and safety - High School Diploma preferred - Ability to learn reading and interpreting design drawings and production documents - Strong work ethic and organizational skills - Ability to effectively communicate across departments - Able to lift up to 50lbs - Occasional bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing - Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range - Occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles (with PPE provided); outdoor weather conditions QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
