Position Title: Accounting Specialist
Wage: Based on Experience Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00AM - 4:00PM or 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Monday - Friday) Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions has a great opportunity available for an Accounting Specialist at a company in Menomonee Falls, WI. This is a direct hire position for 1st shift. Apply today! Accounting Specialist Responsibilities: - Process inventory invoices, including 3-way PO matching in the ERP system - Reconcile supplier statements; research and resolve discrepancies - Review invoices for accuracy, approvals, and proper documentation - Prioritize invoices based on payment terms and cash discounts - Process payments via check, ACH, and credit card - Process general & administrative expenses and obtain required approvals - Track returns and ensure credits are issued correctly - Maintain vendor relationships and assist with onboarding new suppliers - Set up and maintain vendors in ERP; collect W-9s and Certificates of Insurance - Partner with A/R and A/P teams to reconcile intercompany transactions - Prepare and submit expense reports - Assist with month-end close and annual 1099 processing - Contribute to team projects and provide support as needed Requirements For Accounting Specialist: - Associate degree or equivalent work experience - 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience - Familiarity with prepaids and accruals - Proficient in MS Word and Excel - Basic understanding of accounting principles - Working knowledge of accounts payable and general ledger systems - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
