This role is responsible for assisting the EHS Specialist and safety committees in the development of Job Safety Analyses and in the completion of operational risk assessments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned. Work independently and with hourly employees, safety committees, and management to complete job safety analyses. Using the job safety analyses complete an operational risk assessment to identify high risk aspects of each job as well as jobs that may pose more risk than others. Using ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practicable) risk reduction principles identify potential actions that can be taken to reduce identified risks. Develop and administer, via e-learning style, training on the completion of job safety analyses and operational risk assessments. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor. The hiring rate for this position is $20.00hour plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
