Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Service Analyst to support our Commercial Real Estate Loan Servicing operations, with a strong focus on cash processing, disbursements, and research. This role requires the ability to float between teams, manage multiple priorities, and work confidently with cash transactions, escrow accounts, and mortgage servicing processes.

The ideal candidate has prior banking or mortgage servicing experience, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of checks, reversals, and cash accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Process cash disbursements, including refunding overages to clients

Handle stop payments, reversals, and research related to cash transactions

Manage incoming and outgoing checks with accuracy and attention to detail

Perform cash posting and reconciliation activities

Multitask across high-volume workflows while meeting deadlines

Follow established procedures with side-by-side training support

Perform escrow analysis for taxes and insurance

Process tax and insurance disbursements, including one-off payments

Make direct payments to counties and taxing authorities

Research and follow up on delinquent tax items

General Responsibilities

Support loan system maintenance and workflow management

Conduct outbound calls to clients and respond to internal inquiries

Collaborate across multiple teams as business needs shift

Maintain accurate documentation and records

Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures

Required Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent experience (3-6 years)

Previous experience in banking, cash transactions, or mortgage servicing

Strong understanding of checks, cash posting, reversals, and stop payments

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong multitasking, time management, and problem-solving abilities

High attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

Mortgage servicing experience (residential or commercial)

Escrow experience (taxes and insurance)

Cash accounting or Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

Commercial real estate loan servicing background
