Genesis10 is currently seeking a Site Reliability Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Establish and maintain partnerships with Application Development and Production Support teams to implement the measures prescribed through the collaboration of the Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and the SRE team(s) they are leading Ensure the appropriate instrumentation, tooling, ticketing, alerting and on-call routines are in place for key services Advocate and advance more efficient solution delivery practices and evangelize great design, engineering and organizational practices Requirements: BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving systems or equivalent practical experience Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Terraform Enterprise, Ansible Automation, Cloud Terraform Enterprise, JAVA, HashiCorp Consul, AWS, Azure, OpenShift Demonstrates a high level of technical expertise within one or more technical domains Demonstrates the ability to decompose issues or objectives into units of work that can be assigned to other team members Automation, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Camunda, Python, Consul, Cloud Experience with Python, Ansible, Golang, and shell scripting Strong experience in major services related to Compute, Storage, Network and Security Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Dynatrace, as well as cloud native tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics Strong understanding and background of working with a complex infrastructure, including RHEL and Windows Servers, OpenShift containers, Terraform, Azure and AWS virtual resources Experience with CI/CD tools git/Jenkins, GitOps model Excellent understanding of Linux /Windows operating systems administration Experience in Jira, Remedy and other workload management tools Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication (written, verbal, and presentation) skills Core Java Cloud Computing Robotic Process Automation Desired skills: Linux System Administration Splunk Administration OpenShift Containers Dyantrace Administration Grafana Ansible Automation Horizon CI/CD (Jenkins, XLR, Artifactory, BitBucket) Azure/AWS\GCP Cloud Fast learner Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team with direct responsibilities Systematic problem-solving approach, sense of ownership and drive Ability to juggle competing priorities and adapt to changes in project scope HashiCorp Terraform/Red Hat Ansible certifications Pay Range: $67.29-$75.29 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
