Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: Portsmouth, NH; Jacksonville, FL; Raleigh, NC

This senior-level position is responsible for providing expert-level technical and operational business system support, with a strong focus on Salesforce platform expertise. The role involves leading complex needs assessments, driving strategic system enhancements, and ensuring solutions deliver measurable value aligned with Bank objectives. This position includes advanced system analysis, leadership in cross-functional initiatives, mentoring of junior team members, and ownership of end-to-end project delivery, including elements of system integration, testing strategy, and solution architecture.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform in-depth business system analysis for complex change requests, enterprise-level projects, assessments, and production issues, providing strategic recommendations and solutions
  • Partner with senior business stakeholders to elicit, document, prioritize, and validate comprehensive requirements, ensuring strong alignment with organizational strategic objectives
  • Lead business process mapping, analysis, and optimization initiatives to drive significant efficiency gains and alignment with enterprise goals
  • Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications, including user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data models
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business units, IT teams, vendors, and senior leadership to facilitate clear communication, resolve conflicts, and ensure project alignment and success
  • Lead data sourcing, compilation, and advanced analysis to uncover detailed data flows, identify strategic business needs, and provide actionable insights for executive decision-making
  • Oversee and contribute to the design, configuration, integration, and deployment of Salesforce and related IT systems to meet complex business requirements
  • Create, maintain, and govern comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, user guides, process diagrams, and knowledge repositories
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues, coordinating with IT teams, business partners, vendors, and external resources as required
  • Conduct advanced Impact Analysis for enterprise-wide systems integrations, interfaces, and Salesforce customizations
  • Mentor and guide junior Business Systems Analysts, review deliverables, and contribute to team process improvement and best practices
  • Drive adoption of Salesforce best practices, stay current with platform features, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance business capabilities

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of professional experience working as a Business Systems Analyst, with demonstrated progression to senior-level responsibilities
  • Strong experience in Banking, Equipment Finance, or Financial Services industries
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce (Financial Services module) required; Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified Business Analyst, Administrator / Advanced Administrator, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant) highly preferred
  • Expert proficiency in eliciting, documenting, analyzing, and validating business requirements using advanced techniques (interviews, workshops, surveys, JAD sessions)
  • Advanced experience with business process modeling tools such as BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and advanced data visualization/analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • In-depth familiarity with project methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall
  • Proven experience leading user acceptance testing (UAT), developing comprehensive test strategies/cases, and ensuring high-quality system delivery
  • Hands-on expertise with JIRA and Azure DevOps (ADO) for agile project execution and backlog management
  • Demonstrated ability to present complex technical concepts to senior leadership and non-technical audiences
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with proven experience facilitating cross-functional meetings and influencing stakeholders
  • Ability to lead projects independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-impact results in a fast-paced environment
