About Universal Endless Summer Resort - Dockside Inn and Suites

Join the team at this hotel inspired by the sand, the sea and breathtaking sunsets.

Assists the Tour and Travel Conference Manager in the preparation of all groups or events. Provides outstanding, friendly, professional information and assistance to clients and guests. Presents a professional image of Loews Hotels and Universal Orlando ensuring total guest satisfaction and repeat business.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Develops a relationship with clients by reaching out once a contract has been made, and then maintaining contact on a regular basis

  • Prepares resumes

  • Prints keys and checks group guests in on day of arrival

  • Updates billing in Workbook

  • Responsible for blocking group rooms prior to arrival

  • Provides attention to client, at all times, to ensure total guest satisfaction

  • Answers department phone lines

  • Makes any changes to rooming lists or reservations for client once the group arrives

  • Sells Food & Beverage vouchers and Sonic Cups to client groups

  • Attends weekly resume meetings

  • Attends pre-conference meetings when required

  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards

  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs

Supportive Functions and Responsibilities

  • Attends all appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions

  • Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times

  • Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, employees, and management

  • Complies with all hotel standards, policies, and rules

  • Recycles whenever possible

  • Remains current on hotel information and changes

  • Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Excellent guest service skills.

  • Advanced computer skills; Opera, Workbook, and Delphi.fdc systems experience preferred.

  • One year of experience in the hotel industry is preferred.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members, leaders and guests.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required.
