Labor Pool (Warehouse) - All Shifts

Who we are looking for:

We are currently searching for a general labor employee to be based out of our Harvey, IL Regional shipping Center. The job will either be: 1st shift (7am-3pm) 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm - 7am); all M-F, some Saturdays. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the general laborer will be responsible for general labor work including stacking and bundling product, clearing scrap, miscellaneous continuous improvement projects, and cleaning work areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehousing environment. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

What you'll do:

• Stack and bundle product.
• Clear scrap.
• Miscellaneous continuous improvement projects
• Clean work areas.

What you'll bring:

• Experience in industrial manufacturing or warehousing
• Strong sense of time organization and sense of urgency, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Operation of a handheld scanner and utilization of a variety of printed work instructions as part of daily work assignment
• Ability to pass the post offer employment process with drug screen

Within 3 months, you'll:

• Show progress and/or complete job specific training
• Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations
• Gain a basic understanding of required duties and job expectations.
