About the Role

We are looking for an Experienced Process Engineer to join the GORE TAG Thoracic Branch Endoprosthesis (TBE) team. This role will focus on supporting the manufacturing line with opportunities for an innovative manufacturing process problem solver to dive into the details of specific equipment/processes, look broadly at overall flow, and provide strategic perspective for long term scalability planning.

This role will be located at our facility in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support of commercialized product manufacturing
  • Understand critical process parameters to ensure the process reliably delivers a fit for use product that meets all specifications and customer requirements
  • Research, develop and design equipment and process improvements targeting yield, capacity and ergonomic improvements
  • Develop and execute validation strategies
  • Optimize process flow with respect to new equipment and improvements
  • Apply formal problem-solving techniques to determine root cause of equipment/process issues
  • Plan and execute technical work using statistical techniques including Design of Experiments (DoE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on engineering experience
  • History of documenting and communicating work effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues and failure modes, creating a framework of action to address these issues and assess root cause including effective risk-based decision making
  • Ability to apply engineering fundamentals and statistical tools to development, optimization, and troubleshooting activities
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and drive multiple projects concurrently from development to completion against agreed upon timelines and deliverables
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a cross-functional team
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore's work arrangement policies.
