Department Overview: Join the Residential, Retail and Supply Chain Services (RRSS) team at UC San Diego, a dynamic and innovative campus department dedicated to delivering exceptional service to the university community. As a valued RRSS team member, you will be contributing to a broad and complex organization consisting of five key units: Housing, Dining and Hospitality (HDH), Integrated Procure-to-Pay Solutions (IPPS), the UC San Diego Bookstore, Triton Print & Digital Media, and the Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC). As a member of the HDH team, you will be part of a self-funded unit with over 900 staff employees, 1,000 student employees, and an annual operating budget of $250 million, providing housing and dining services to over 20,000 students, faculty, staff, and their families. They include: The UC San Diego Bookstore is a self-supporting auxiliary organization with annual revenue of $25,000,000. The bookstore supports the campus community with academic materials, spirit wear, and technology products. The UC San Diego Bookstore employs approximately 20 career staff and approximately 100-150 student and temporary employees. Triton Print & Digital Media (TP&DM) is a self-supporting service enterprise made up of four sub units: Print & Document Centers (P&DC), Campus Copier Services (CCS) and Library Printing Services (LPS), Laser Printer Repair (LPR). P&DC processes average of up to 1500 orders per month providing communication services in design and production printing, digital publishing, document and other media services to the campus community through multiple campus locations, including a production center, a retail-style center. CCS manages a campus copier/multi-function equipment fleet providing placement, full service, maintenance and supplies management, vendor contract management, and campus-wide print/copy control systems. LPS provides the library with onsite management and all support services for printing with card control and user print accounts. Under general supervision, serves as Financial Analyst for assigned departments. Uses professional knowledge to advise management and facilitate the resolution of moderate to complex budgetary and related financial and administrative issues. Applies organizational knowledge of policies and procedures to ensure the proper implementation of short and/or long-term solutions to operating issues. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $73,205 - $106,634 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $35.06 - $51.07 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
