Short Term Chemical Engineer

Description:

This position providesanindividual withthe opportunity to receive professional mentorship and leadership development opportunities while supportingour clients.Candidateswillbe responsible forsupporting researchers in the development and improvement of biopharmaceutical filtration devices.Projects are matched based on the candidate's abilities and current business needs

Compensation: $20.00 - 25.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• General laboratory activities and instrumentationincludingpipetting, preparation of solutions/samples/media, and operation of pH meters,autoclavesand analytical balances
• Lead projects toquantifythe performance of filters and chromatographic devicesused to purify samples
• Develop process strategies and data packages to solve problems for biopharmaceutical manufacturers
• Communicatethe results of work to technical colleagues and client stakeholders
• Author technical publications such as application notes
• General laboratory upkeep and supplies maintenance

Requirements:

• Undergraduate student completing abachelor's degree in Chemical Engineeringthat is about to start theirsenioryear
• Previousrelated internship preferred
• Good deductive reasoning and analytical approach to problem solving
• Able to handle multiple projects concurrently, self-motivated, and results driven
• Able to communicate effectively
