Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations and communicate clearly with onsite teams while delivering strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the chain of command as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production, warehouse, office, and exterior perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unsafe conditions.
• Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, and directing traffic flow according to site procedures.
• Perform rounds in cold storage, loading docks, and other food and beverage processing areas while following hygiene requirements and posted rules for restricted areas.
• Monitor cameras, alarm panels, and/or other surveillance equipment, and report irregular activity per post orders.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and service calls in daily activity reports and electronic logs with clear, timely, and accurate details.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing dock activity, noting seal and trailer information when assigned, and reporting discrepancies to site leadership.
• Provide assistance during emergency situations such as fire alarms, medical events, and/or facility evacuations by following post orders and contacting emergency services when directed.
• Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, and delivery drivers, providing directions and resolving access issues within the scope of post orders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Allied Universal and site leadership consistent with post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with customer service is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
