You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond with clear communication and strong customer service. Bring your Armed Guard Card or License and valid driver's license to support a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and always acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, utility infrastructure areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and perform access control duties, including verifying identification and authorizations for entry to restricted government-related locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site staff and local public agencies as directed.
  • Complete required reports such as incident reports and daily activity logs, and communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card and/or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
