As a Security Officer - Pharmaceutical Facility Patrol Driver in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will document activity, support access points, and respond to concerns with professionalism and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and adherence to AU Driver Policy requirements, backed by Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team-first culture.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout commercial buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and building entrances, verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Assist with visitor management activities such as sign-in processes, badge distribution, and directing guests to appropriate destinations.
  • Operate and observe CCTV systems, intrusion alarms, fire panels, and other security-related monitoring equipment, documenting and reporting irregular activity.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity reports, including documentation of maintenance issues and unusual conditions observed during rounds.
  • Perform key control and/or lock and unlock tasks when assigned, supporting after-hours operations for tenant spaces and common areas.
  • Support tenant and property management requests such as escorts for contractors, lost and found assistance, and responding to service calls related to access and perimeter concerns.
  • Coordinate with property staff and local responders during alarms, medical calls, and other emergencies, following post orders and communication protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
