Job Description




As a Security Officer - Flex in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist with badging needs, and provide clear, courteous communication to travelers and staff. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a transportation facility.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing direction to personnel and/or contacting appropriate responders per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, ticketing and baggage areas, public corridors, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations as assigned.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit to restricted and/or employee-only areas in accordance with site policies and credential requirements.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, unattended items, and policy violations, and complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation.
  • Provide assistance with crowd management during peak travel periods, disruptions, and special events, including directing foot traffic and helping to maintain orderly lines.
  • Use radios and other communication tools to coordinate with Allied Universal leadership, site representatives, and/or local authorities as needed.
  • Support lost and found procedures, provide general information to the public, and assist with service calls while maintaining a professional presence on post.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
