You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service through clear communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal policies, state and local regulations and site post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of lobbies, teller lines, ATM areas, parking areas, drive-up lanes and building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas such as cash handling rooms, vault corridors and employee-only spaces, as directed by site procedures.
  • Observe for suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, forced entry indicators and unusual conditions and take appropriate action consistent with post orders.
  • Respond to alarms, disturbances, robberies in progress and other critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner and request law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Provide visible presence during high-traffic periods, cash movements and opening and closing routines, as directed by site procedures.
  • Operate and monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, intrusion alarms, panic alarms and access control equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs and other required documentation with accurate times, actions taken and notifications made.
  • Communicate clearly with branch leadership, Allied Universal supervision and responding authorities during routine operations and incident response.
  • Perform weapon and equipment checks at the start of shift and maintain assigned gear in serviceable condition per policy.
  • Support emergency procedures such as evacuations, lockdowns and medical response until relieved by management and/or responding authorities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
