Event Manager

About the Role
We're looking for an Event Manager to join The Collective-the fast-moving, creative agency side of BCD Meetings & Events. If you love crafting extraordinary experiences, thrive under pressure, and can pivot without missing a beat, you'll fit right in. You're Good At

• Running events from concept to flawless execution-on time, on budget, and on point.
• Building instant trust with clients and colleagues through confident, clear communication.
• Keeping projects organized while juggling multiple deadlines seamlessly.
• Navigating event tech tools like a pro (Cvent, Smartsheet, and more).
• Leading and inspiring teams to deliver exceptional results in dynamic situations.

You Might Also Have

• Experience running onsite event operations in different roles.
• Knowledge of online registration systems or event apps.
• Familiarity with Cvent or other event technologies.
• A background in hospitality, agency work, or destination management companies.
• Sharp creative instincts for designing engaging attendee experiences.

You Should Know

• This role operates on Eastern or Central Standard Time.
• This role requires up to 50% travel annually.

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:25% to 50%

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Event Manager is between $57,000 - $78,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
