What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Operate the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor logs per site-specific requirements.
  • Monitor entry points, lobby activity, and available security-related systems such as cameras, access control, and alarm panels, and report irregular activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer and route incoming calls, requests for assistance, and after-hours inquiries, maintaining a professional demeanor and clear communication.
  • Complete detailed written reports of daily activity, incidents, and service requests, including accurate documentation and timely notification to the appropriate parties.
  • Support building operations by coordinating deliveries, contractor check-in, and access requests, following established protocols to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Maintain control of keys, access cards, and other building-issued items when assigned, using sign-in and/or sign-out procedures and reporting discrepancies promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
