As a Security Officer - Tech Patrol Driver - Overnights in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible throughout your shift. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. This position is a driving post, requiring you to operate vehicles as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence throughout.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and the surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual circumstances, or suspicious activity according to company and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns or potential issues.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Remain alert to potential hazards or security-related risks specific to a technology-focused environment and communicate observations promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
