Job Description
ECU Department of Biology is currently seeking several Laboratory Assistants for the ERL (Environmental Research Lab) to assist with laboratory activities that are of a routine nature, such as glassware washing and solution preparation with little or no supervision. Assist in research activities, such as environmental sample preparation and analysis with supervision, as well as method development. Assist in maintaining equipment and with data collection and organization. Assist with weekly laboratory inspections as well as update chemical inventory. Perform related tasks as assigned.
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Environmental Biology, Environmental Engineering
Must have blocks of time available to work. Minimum 2-3 hours at a time.
