Overview

Element has an opportunity for an NDT Level II Technician. The primary function of the NDT Technician is to perform equipment verifications and conduct testing in accordance with procedures approved by the NDT Level III. The technician will interpret, evaluate and document test results and supervise work performed by Trainees and Level I Technicians.

Salary: $26- 32$/hr DOE



Responsibilities

* Conduct a variety of tests using established methods
* Tasks are performed both in the laboratory and off site
* Prepare test specimens, set up and adjust test equipment and record test data
* Analyze and interpret test data
* Maintain related test equipment, tools, and machinery in good working condition
* Other duties as assigned / extended hours, multiple shift hours when needed for project demands
* Extended travel as needed for project demands
* Occasionally supervise Trainees and Level I Technicians



Skills / Qualifications

* Two years of technical / vocational training in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Level II Qualification and or Certification in RT required and other methods - PT, MT, UT experience preferred
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, customer testing specifications, and procedure manuals
* Must have valid driver's license, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
* Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events / projects in the community, with customers and within the company
