This includes Clubhouses in Manhattan, the Bronx, Hollywood, California and Care Management, Home and Community Based Services and a large housing program ranging from 24 hour supervised residences to scattered site supported apartments. Your Impact As the Clubhouse Training & Technical Assistance Lead, you will provide hands-on, in-person coaching and support to Clubhouse teams as they launch, strengthen, and sustain high-quality, high-fidelity Clubhouse programming. As part of the Strategic Growth team, which is committed to expanding access to effective, community-based supports for people living with serious mental illness, this role focuses on practical implementation, training, and capacity building. This is not an IT role. This position supports Clubhouse operations through on-site training, implementation support, and technical assistance delivered directly to programs and communities. This role will play a key part in building and strengthening a coordinated network of Clubhouse supports across California, with particular focus on Los Angeles, while also contributing to national training and technical assistance efforts across the United States. Requirements
As Clubhouse Training & Technical Assistance Lead, you will: Program Implementation, Training, and Technical Assistance
- Provide on-site training and technical assistance to Clubhouse programs supporting people living with serious mental illness
- Coach staff and members in implementing high-fidelity Clubhouse practices, including the work-ordered day and community-centered programming
- Conduct readiness assessments and provide implementation support for new and developing Clubhouse programs
- Support programs in translating education and training into consistent day-to-day operations
- Document site visits, progress, and follow-up needs to support continuity and shared learning
Regional Network Building and Partnership
- Build and steward a growing network of Clubhouse supports throughout California, with a strong presence in Los Angeles
- Liaise with regional partners to coordinate training efforts, share toolkits and resources, and troubleshoot operational challenges
- Support alignment across partners to strengthen consistency, quality, and shared learning within the regional Clubhouse ecosystem
Stakeholder Partnership and Strategic Alignment
- Collaborate laterally with the Growth Department on regional strategy, stakeholder alignment, and resource allocation
- Partner with internal colleagues to align training, technical assistance, and implementation plans across initiatives
- Contribute field-based insights to inform broader strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts
Budget Stewardship
- Liaise with the Strategic Growth Department to support management of allocated regional technical assistance budgets
- Help optimize the mix of in-house and contracted resources to maximize impact, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness

What you bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, public administration, organizational development, or equivalent professional experience.
- Direct experience working in Clubhouse programs or closely aligned community-based mental health models
- Experience providing training, coaching, or technical assistance to support program implementation
- Strong understanding of mental illness and recovery-oriented, community-based services
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to document work and follow through across multiple sites
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%, including regular travel to California and Los Angeles
