Responsibilities
Director of Business Development Since 1973, Peachford Hospital has been offering hope to individuals, families, and communities. Peachford is the leader in providing quality mental health and addiction treatment services to children, adolescent, adults and seniors. Our commitment to care includes developing integrated delivery systems through partnerships with medical surgical hospitals, community mental health centers, educational institutions, managed care organizations, local health professionals and agencies. Peachford strives to set the standard for excellence in the field of behavioral health care and maintains its leadership role by treating each patient as a respected individual of our community. As a member of the hospital management team, the Director of Business Development is actively involved in discussions related to a wide variety of facility issues including strategic planning, potential growth opportunities, future projects and improvements in programing. In addition, the Director of Business Development is responsible for the facility's strategic marketing plan, enhancing the facility's brand/image, management of all sales and business development activities and maintaining an active and productive working relationship with internal departments and communicates issues or potential problems proactively, especially with CEO and Director of Admissions/Intake. Qualifications Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field required. Masters of Business Administration or related field highly preferred. Experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree. Experience: Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred. Five years minimum experience in organizational communications, referral development, workshop planning, sales management, and physician relationships preferred.
