CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project Financial Analyst to join our Infrastructure Sector Finance Team in Indianapolis, IN. This is your opportunity to enhance financial performance and contribute to the planning, oversight, and delivery of projects that shape our success.



What You'll Do:

    Manage project administration for assigned portfolio of Project Managers, including establishing financial setup, revenue methods, budgets, and reporting in Deltek Vision to support accurate and timely project execution
  • Analyze budget to actual variances, collaborate with project teams on corrective actions, and provide sound financial counsel to Sector Finance leadership to support project performance
  • Verify contract and change order characteristics and monitor compliance with contractual commitments and subcontracting requirements such as MWBE and FAR, as well as company policies
  • Review, organize, and maintain key project documentation while supporting internal, regulatory, and client audit activities
  • Prepare accurate draft invoices aligned with contract terms, secure project manager approvals, and finalize timely submissions to clients
  • Monitor outstanding receivables, manage client A/P communications and billing portals, and ensure timely resolution of unpaid or unbilled items


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of project accounting, cost accounting, financial analysis, or similar activity required
  • Strong knowledge of revenue accounting and invoicing practices with an understanding of business systems, financial tracking, and project management systems
  • Experience with enterprise accounting systems required; experience with Deltek Vision or comparable enterprise accounting system highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to collaborate in a team environment with matrix responsibilities
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Previous experience in a professional services or project oriented field and rapid-paced, high-volume environment

Salary Range:

$36.05 - $38.46

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
