We are seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to support prescription processing and provide high-quality pharmaceutical care. This role is classified as a temporary, intermittent position.This pharmacist will float to various Genoa Healthcare locations across Northern Indiana, supporting teams where coverage is needed.

Schedule:

Genoa pharmacies operate Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with no nights, weekends, or holidays. Candidates must have availability during these hours.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
  • Provides information to customers about medications and their use
  • Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
  • Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
  • Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy?or PharmD
  • Current pharmacist license in the state of Indiana
  • Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire


Preferred Qualification:



  • Authorization to administer long-acting injectables or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire


Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $60.00 to $65.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
