IT Director

Journey Group is seeking a Director of Information Technology (IT Director) in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In this strategic leadership role, you will shape and execute the company's IT vision, lead the IT department, and partner with business leaders to advance technology solutions that support growth, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

• Lead and manage the IT department, including hiring, performance coaching, and professional development
• Define and implement the long-term IT strategy aligned with organizational goals
• Oversee enterprise technology infrastructure, systems, and security programs
• Partner with executives and department leaders to provide strategic IT guidance and solutions
• Champion digital transformation, automation, and advanced analytics initiatives
• Develop and manage the IT budget and technology vendor relationships
• Oversee business systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS) and lead major technology projects, upgrades, and integrations
• Establish and maintain information security, risk management, and compliance practices
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the organization

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership in technology management
• Demonstrated success leading digital transformation, major system implementations, and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience in construction or related industries is a plus

• Strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills
• Expertise in current and emerging technologies, IT governance, and cybersecurity best practices
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Proven project management and budget management capabilities
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on business-aligned technology solutions
• Must be 18+ and able to safely work in a construction environment as needed
