As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol Driver in Vacaville, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, delivering outstanding customer service, and communicating clearly with all individuals onsite. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe for compliance with site regulations, particularly in areas where chemicals or petrochemical processes are present.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Communicate clearly with site personnel and/or emergency responders as required during incidents or drills.
  • Remain alert to environmental and operational hazards that may be unique to chemical or petrochemical locations.
  • Participate in site-specific training and maintain knowledge of emergency and evacuation procedures relevant to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
