Genesis10 is seeking a QA/BA III. This is a 6-month contract position with a client located in Columbus, OH. The contract portion will be remote. If converted to time employee, this will be 4 days onsite. This role pays $50.00-62.00/HR W2 based on experience. Responsibilities: Serve as a liaison and knowledge resource for stakeholders, product owners, Agile team members, and SMEs. Work in an Agile environment to gather, refine, and document business requirements, Features, and User Stories. Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions and collaborate with Product Owners to refine Epics into Features and User Stories. Lead backlog refinement sessions to clarify story details, establish acceptance criteria, and support story point estimation. Create and maintain sourcetotarget data mappings and validate requirements for completeness and testability. Collaborate with Application BSAs to identify, escalate, and resolve impediments via the Scrum Master. Participate in identifying, quantifying, and mitigating project risks and issues. Create test strategies and test plans for Data Warehouse projects, ensuring alignment to project requirements. Execute manual and/or automated test cases following defined QA processes. Run SQL/database queries in Azure DevOps or other tools to support test execution and validation. Perform ETL validation including data profiling, reconciliation, metadata validation, and initial/delta validation for various SCD types. Analyze data, troubleshoot data issues, and create action plans to address data quality gaps. Perform Functional, Regression, Negative, and Migration testing for Data Warehouse initiatives. Identify, document, communicate, and track testing defects; collaborate with the project team on defect triage and resolution. Provide test status updates to project teams and stakeholders. Requirements: 2+ years of experience with Snowflake and AWS Cloud Minimum 5 years of ETL testing experience in data warehouse environment. Minimum 5 years of experience analyzing data, troubleshooting data issues, and creating action plans to address data quality issues. Minimum 5 years of experience writing SQL queries. Understanding of enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards. Experience leading QA Analysts on a project team. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks. 7+ years of experience as Business Systems Analyst in a Data Warehouse environment.
