Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. Job Title: Screw Machine Setup Operator 2nd Shift. Location: Hamilton, OH. Job Summary:
  • Individual will perform machine setup and run Acme and Davenport screw machines. This is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified mechanically inclined machine set-up/operator to work with a great company that offers excellent benefits.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for operation of screw machines; including, loading bar stock, filling fluids, and removing chips from machine.
  • Responsible for performing setup on screw machines; including, tooling changes, tool sharpening, and tool adjustments to ensure continued conformance to specifications.
  • Responsible for conformance with quality specifications.
  • Ability to assist other operators in performing tool changes, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
  • Ability to assist in training others on operation and setup of screw machines.
Preferred Skills:
  • Mechanically inclined - Individual needs to be good with tools and machinery and can adapt quickly to fixing things both familiar and unfamiliar.
  • Perform standard math - Individual needs to be able to perform standard math to effectively make machine adjustments.
  • Reasoning ability - Ability to think, reflect, and make decisions to overcome obstacles.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant work experience; maintenance, mechanic, automotive mechanic, or trade school completion.
  • Perform standard math - add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
