Strongbridge has an exciting opportunity for a Proposal Coordinator who will play a central role in developing compelling proposals and other written materials that will advance our strategic growth in the Federal marketplace.

In-office: 1 day per week at our Sterling, VA office.

Responsibilities:



  • Create clear and concise documentation/proposals that communicate complex technical information.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts, developers, and product managers to gather and interpret technical information.
  • Review and edit documents for clarity, grammatical accuracy, and proper formatting, ensuring high-quality content.
  • Assist with managing the entire proposal development process, coordinating efforts among subject matter experts, writers, and reviewers to ensure win themes and solution strategies are identified and shared across the team.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and compliant language.
  • Maintain consistency in tone, style, and branding across all proposal documents.
  • Support graphics development and layout for proposal documents.
  • Assist in creating reusable content libraries and templates.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality submissions that meet requirements.
  • Draft, edit, and finalize proposal documents, including outline, proposal calendar, proposal sections, ensuring they are compelling and compliant with the request for proposal (RFP) or request for information (RFI).
  • Develop compliance matrices, and deliverable trackers.
  • Create and maintain a detailed proposal development schedule, managing timelines and ensuring all proposal elements are completed on time.
  • Facilitate proposal kick-off and debrief meetings.
  • Attend solutioning meetings as required.
  • Review and ensure that all proposal graphics and formatting are consistent with company standards.
  • Create, maintain, and update process documentation.
  • Assist with corporate and project documentation as needed.



Required Skills:



  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or related field.
  • 5 years+ of experience in proposal coordination and proposal development or technical writing for Federal government contracts.
  • Familiarity with IT modernization concepts (cloud migration, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Federal acquisition processes and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat; experience with proposal tools (e.g., SharePoint, GovWin).
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for drafting proposals and collaborating with team members.
  • A working under tight deadlines, the ability to prioritize tasks is required.
  • Experience using AI tools for content creation.



Desired Skills:



  • Knowledge of GSA schedules, GWACs, and IDIQs.
  • APMP certification or similar is a plus.



Pay Range: $80k - $90k

The posted pay range reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
