Commercial Lending Intern

Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Commercial Lending Intern will gain experience understanding the ongoing supporting documentation needed over the life of a commercial loan supporting the Commercial Admin Team. This position will assist with a variety of special projects and support functions designed to achieve the overall strategic objectives of maintaining our commercial loan files.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ensuring insurance policy coverage is active, confirming with agents and underwriters
• Working with past and current insurance policy documentation to confirm proper up to date documentation is in file and meets regulatory requirements
• Creating and implementing tracking process to help with consistency in future
• Additional projects as needed

Knowledge/Skills:

• Accountable for timely completion of assigned projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word)
• Accountable for the quality of work provided, documentation and follow-up with adherence to Everwise's service expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Currently attending a college or university and have taken the intermediate level courses typically in the third year of study.
