As a Screener with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain order. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related screening procedures for personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location.
• Follow site-specific policies and protocols while maintaining a professional and customer-focused demeanor.
• Assist in emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal protocols and site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Document all security-related activities, observations, and incidents according to company and client guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with team members, site management, and visitors to promote a secure environment.
• Remain alert to surroundings and report any unusual or suspicious activities encountered during the course of duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
