The Clinical AScheduling Analyst who manages and oversees administrative functions of clinical operations for the Department of Radiology; manages and facilitates scheduling improvement projects and conducts radiologist scheduling duties for clinical areas within the department including outpatient sites; functions as liaison between Department leadership, central scheduling, IHIS, cadence team, third party vendor (QGenda) and division access leadership; creates and modifies physician templates and/or schedules for 200+ Radiology providers, trainees, and external contracted physicians and; ensures required and appropriate levels of provider coverage for both immediate need and long range planning; maintains accurate providers schedules for clinic time and/or call; ensures schedules are entered correctly in applicable scheduling systems; takes the lead with division schedule changes; maintains the appropriate block schedules, completes project work as assigned by the Associate Administrator.

50%: Utilizes scheduling/template software, takes the lead with creation/management of radiology clinical schedules which may include physician schedules and call schedules, maintains the block schedules, ensuring schedules are entered correctly in the appropriate scheduling system; in partnership with division leaders enters new/changes of schedule into system; leverages knowledge of provider expertise, physician availabilities and preferences, planned time off and historical patterns, to create schedules that meet the clinical obligations of the division; First line communicator with physicians on schedules/locations as well as issues/concerns regarding scheduling; primary resource for scheduling urgent or special request patients, and management of priority scheduling projects; escalates patterns and significant issues to Associate Administrator; Evaluates and monitors ongoing template changes to ensure compliance with revenue cycle management initiatives; Monitors day to day access availability utilizing prospective reporting metrics; May produce reports as directed;

30%: Works directly with QGenda or other scheduling software vendors to continuously improve and ensure scheduling processes are implemented efficiently into custom electronic scheduling software; Understands the technological solutions for hardware and software; Develops program related forms and/or participates in program planning, operational or review meetings; in addition to assisting with lean strategies related to scheduling and staffing by collecting and analyzing data; Utilizes continuous improvement strategies and is the content expert for individual faculty regarding scheduling software and processes; maintains statistics for the purpose of internal and external reporting; prepares data for presentations and reports; evaluates, identifies, and drives process and quality improvement; serves as revenue cycle management and access policy champion; provides education to applicable staff and monitors compliance;

15% Maintains database and assists leadership with analysis; Provides decision support related to manpower and staffing; Compiles reports to help formulate recommendations for scheduling protocols, manpower needs and usage, monitoring usage of sick time, meeting time, and other leave time; Coordinate and complete special projects as they relate to Qgenda, Workday, faculty and trainee schedule coverage; assists in departing physician process;

5% other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
