Job Summary

This position plays a key role in implementing, monitoring, and enforcing University policy along with governmental regulations with the goal of minimizing risks associated with all aspects of billing and reporting as one method of preventing and detecting inappropriate, improper, and fraudulent conduct. In addition to managing a portfolio of compliance audits and investigations, the incumbent manages the workflow and performance of provider enrollment analysts. Additionally, this position requires the ability to function with autonomy demonstrating sound judgement and discretion.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position

  • Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience or training
  • 3 years of supervisor or managerial experience required
  • Experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid regulations
  • Demonstrated hospital management skills, with progressive expertise in regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and assign work efficiently.
  • Demonstrated leadership, fiscal and operations management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, business, and technical personnel at all levels, and external agencies.
  • Demonstrated critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify problems and implement solutions.
  • Demonstrated project management, interpersonal and communications skills to promote, support and introduce regulatory compliance activities across a broad spectrum of departments.
  • Demonstrated abilities to prepare and present reports, work effectively with outside agencies, and convey complex information and instructions in a clear, concise, and specific manner.
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare information technology.
