Job Summary:

Belden is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging individual to join our team as a Solutions Trainer. This role will be primarily remote/located near our Chicago Customer Innovation Center (CIC) and will be responsible for delivering compelling training sessions on Belden's brands, products, and solutions to our valued partners, including distributors and system integrators. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and communicating, with a strong ability to translate complex information into understandable and engaging content.

Responsibilities:




  • Lead and facilitate engaging training sessions, both in-person and remotely, on Belden's evolving solutions, brands and products.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to customize training materials and presentations, ensuring relevance to specific partner needs and vertical markets.
  • Manage logistics for training events, including scheduling, room reservations, material preparation and coordination of any necessary equipment shipments.
  • Continuously expand and update personal knowledge of Belden's evolving product portfolio, solutions, and relevant industry trends.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop, update, and improve training materials as product lines evolve or are introduced.
  • Assess training effectiveness and provide feedback for continuous improvement, leveraging participant feedback and survey data.
  • Accurately document student attendance and material presented for all training sessions.
  • Support the Customer Innovation Center (CIC) as needed for customer visits and tours, gaining and maintaining familiarity with CIC demos and AV equipment.
  • Manage and maintain training resources and equipment, ensuring all items are in working order and ready for use in training sessions.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to support training efforts at partner locations or industry events (approximately 50% travel frequency).



Desired Skills and Experience:




  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Education, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in a training or presentation role.
  • Proven experience in delivering engaging presentations or training sessions to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and concisely.
  • A strong aptitude for learning new technologies and product features, and the ability to convey their benefits effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for coordinating training logistics.
  • Proficiency in presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides).
  • Experience working with partners, distributors, or in a channel-focused environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with general networking and connectivity concepts is beneficial, but deep technical expertise is not required.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $85,200 to $105,000.00, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
