Children's Health Centers work with community partners to help build healthy neighborhoods. Through outreach programs and advocacy, we can identify specific community needs and continue to serve our youth in critical health areas such as asthma, mental health, substance use, obesity and sexual health. Position Summary All nursing practice is based on the legal scope of practice, national and specialty nursing standards, Children's National Policies and Procedures, and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Professional Model of Care requires registered professional nurses to be responsible and accountable for their own practice. Children's National supports the development of RN relationships within the community; specifically, those relationships associated with the health and wellbeing of the community at large. Work schedule: 8-hour shifts will be variable. The office hours are Mon - Fri: 8 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. *This location is open every 3rd Saturday from 8am - 4:30pm. Qualifications
