Job Title: Analyst

Opportunity

The primary responsibility of the ACAT team is to provide effective transaction processing and exceptional client service that both guards the firm's capital and reputation and creates measurable value for the firm and its clients.

The ACAT Analyst will handle multiple functions, including:

  • Reconciliation of automated account transfer receives, delivers, and residuals
  • Mutual funds processing
  • Foreign and domestic settlements


The Analyst will manage relationships with PWM Sales teams, counterparties, and vendors. They must meet required GS deadlines, comply with industry rules, escalate issues when necessary, and minimize firm exposure to financial, reputational, and regulatory risk.

Day-to-day responsibilities include facilitating transfer requests to move assets into and out of the firm, performing account verification and asset review to ensure compliance with firm and industry policies, and completing assigned projects requiring data analysis to depict trends and streamline processes.

Job Duties

  • Initiate transfer requests from client-signed ACAT instructions to bring assets into the firm, requiring attention to detail and understanding of industry and system requirements (30% time spent daily)
  • Perform reconciliation of incoming wires by reviewing external instructions and notifying PWM Sales teams to input matching instructions (40% time spent daily)
  • Facilitate account transfer delivery through a series of steps to notify internal teams, receive proper approvals, and complete account termination (20% time spent daily)
  • Project work requiring data analysis to identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual touchpoints (10% time spent daily)



Position Description

  • Position-level reconciliation of all account requests from counterparties and clients
  • Oversight of residual positions following ACAT transfers
  • Pre-population of ACAT transfer forms
  • Foreign and domestic settlements
  • Identify innovative ways to create efficiencies and increase controls
  • Provide superior client service while mitigating risk



Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of operations experience (familiarity with ACATS and settlement operations preferred, not required)
  • Strong PC, MS Office, and web skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
