Shift: 3:30pm-12:00am

FLSA Status: Nonexempt

Summary

Responsible for ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency for all tasks outlined in the Custodial and/or Landscape contracts, and for working within the assigned budget. Supervises and coordinates activities of supervisors and workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises of commercial sites. Acts as backup to Manager during absences. Follow all department and organization policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Trains, develops, and supervises all Supervisors, and employees at contract site to ensure efficient and timely work completion.
  • Makes regular quality control inspections as outlined based on the contract and is responsible for ensuring all quality parameters are constantly met.
  • Is responsible for the day-to-day relationship/rapport with customer.
  • Is responsible for maintenance and repair of all equipment assigned to Custodial Contract.
  • Is responsible for implementing orientation and training programs for clients under the direction of the Account Manager and Area Manager.
  • Is responsible for maintaining records as assigned by Account Manager to coordinate the rehabilitation program.
  • Is responsible for submitting timely management reports.
  • Ensures the safety and wellbeing of all workers on the contract site.
  • Performs custodial work when necessary
  • Attends scheduled supervisory trainings or conferences.
  • Responsible for being positive role model to all clients and for assisting the Account Manger and other professional staff in insuring the clients meet our goals of their Individual Rehabilitation Plan.
  • All other duties as assigned by appropriate administrative personnel.
  • Follow the daily job routine in the order it is outlined.
  • Use the correct step by step procedure for each cleaning task.
  • Follow manufacturer's recommendations for use of all cleaning solutions and equipment.
  • Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment.
  • Assigns tasks to workers and inspects completed work for conformance to standards.
  • Issues supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain all equipment, supplies, or supply rooms in and orderly fashion.
  • Resolves workers' problems or refers matters to supervisor.
  • Submits requests for repair of cleaning equipment to Account Manager.
  • Performs duties of workers supervised.
  • Ensure a level of cleanliness which meets the quality expectations of the customer.
  • Always interact with fellow employees and public caretaker in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Contributes information for employees' annual reviews as requested.
  • Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, consumers, co-workers and supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass background checks as required by site.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experienced in working with disabled population.
  • Must present a professional image and is positive role model.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and organize tasks effectively.
  • Has demonstrated ability to maintain quality control.
  • Must be available to work all shifts.
