Physician (Neurologist)

Job Description:

Full-time position working for Brown Health Medical Group, 15 LaSalle Square, Providence, RI, providing services at Rhode Island Hospital, The Miriam Hospital and Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, RI. Position specializes in the treatment of Movement Disorders. Movement disorders are a group of neurological conditions that cause abnormal movements such as increased movement (like spasms, jerking or shaking) and/or decreased or slow movement, and include conditions such as Parkinson's Disease, dystonia, and tremors. Position will also assist with the clinical training of Brown University medical students, residents, and fellows at Rhode Island Hospital, and related administrative duties. Normal shift schedule will be M-F 8AM-5PM, with a rotating weekend schedule.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of a U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent, Board Eligibility in Neurology, fellowship training in Movement Disorders (two years), and eligibility for a Rhode Island medical license. Salary offered for this position is $237,019.29 per year.
