Job Description

This role offers a rate of $25.00 per hour at this location. The compensation is fixed and does not vary based on qualifications.

We are seeking an enthusiastic R&D Analytical Chemist intern to joinour state-of-the-art Research & Development facilityduring this summer for 90 days. This internship position will expose the candidate to concepts and practices of raw material analyses, and willhelp you grow your professional skills and broaden your experience as you contribute to our strong knowledge-basedR&D team.

Todevelop your activities and improve your knowledge and experience,you will be responsible for:

  • AnalyzingRaw Materials by GC/MS, FTIR, DSC
  • Organizingdata for later retrieval
  • Performing other duties or projects as assigned
Qualifications

To beconsidered to this opportunity,you will be required to:

  • Have a BS Chemistry or related degree or at least 2 years of undergrad completed with an average minimum cumulative GPA 3.0
  • Have completed scientific laboratory classes
  • Have excellent written, reading comprehension and good math skills
  • Demonstrate proficient with Microsoft Suite programs
  • Apply strong analytical skills
