Summary:

The Utility Engineer operates, maintains, and trouble shoots facility utility systems including steam, chilled water, hydronic loops, electrical distribution systems, vertical lift systems, medical gases, domestic water, and sewage systems.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • 5 years of relevant Plant Operations and maintenance experience.

  • Will consider relevant education in lieu of a portion of work experience.

  • Computer literate in a Windows environment.

Certification/Licensure

ONE of the following required:

  • Texas Plumbing license (Tradesman Plumber-Limited, Journeyman, Master, or Plumbing Inspector).

  • Texas Electrical license (Journeyman Electrician, Journeyman Industrial Electrician, Journeyman Lineman, Maintenance Electrician, or Master Electrician).

  • Texas HVAC license (Certified Technician, Registered Technician, TDLR Class A, or TDLR Class B).

  • Universal EPA 608 certification.

  • Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm
