Our Railcar Mover Field Technician is primarily responsible for providing high quality rebuilds and repairs to respond to customer needs quickly and efficiently to ensure maximum value for work performed on railcar movers. What You Will Do in This Role: Perform repair and preventive maintenance on railcar moving equipment and evaluating for other preventative maintenance items to address with the customer. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations for repairs and make all critical repairs and adjustments Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments Some troubleshooting on equipment may occasionally be required Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers on their repairs Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
