Project Management Lead, Community Engagement - Hybrid

Summary of Position

  • Play a critical role in delivering the strategic goals of the Community Engagement Team.
  • Responsible for assisting in strategic planning, monitoring, evaluating, and reporting of community-focused projects and initiatives working directly with the AVP of Community.
  • Utilize a strong background in project management, data analysis, and community-based programs, with a focus on performance measurement and continuous improvement to determine levels of success and opportunities for improvement.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Design metrics for planning, execution, and delivery of community engagement projects in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Review project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and risks using project management tools and frameworks.
  • Facilitate regular project reporting meetings, ensuring coordination among internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation including plans, reports, and communication materials.
  • Design and implement monitoring frameworks to assess progress, outputs, outcomes, and impact of community engagement initiatives.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and evaluation metrics aligned with program goals.
  • Coordinate with field team on event outcomes, sales deliverables, stakeholder input, and community assessments to gather feedback and measure program effectiveness.
  • Ensure reporting requirements are in place for programs and internal operational reports are issued in a timely manner.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data from various sources.
  • Translate data into insights to inform strategy, improve program performance, and support decision-making.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Identify trends, success stories, and areas for improvement across projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Public Administration, Community Development, Social Sciences, or related field
  • Master's preferred.
  • Project Management (PMI) or equivalent certification preferred

  • 5 - 8+ years of relevant, professional work experience.
  • 3 - 5+ years of experience in project management, M&E, or data analysis within a nonprofit, government, or community-based setting.
  • Strong knowledge of community engagement principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, data analysis software (e.g., Salesforce, Excel, or Tableau).
  • Experience designing public health and/or healthcare logic models, theory of change, and impact frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal) with all types/levels of audiences.
  • Familiarity with healthcare community-impact and outcomes, reporting and working with community-based organizations.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical mindset, able to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communicator across diverse communities, commitment to community empowerment/engagement.
  • Knowledge of equity in community programs.
  • Occasional evening/weekend work or local travel for community meetings and events as needed.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
