What to Expect
This position is expected to begin around May 2026 and continue through August/September. Internships at Tesla are generally full-time, onsite roles that last a minimum of 12 weeks. International Students: If your work authorization is via CPT, consult your school regarding your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week onsite. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year. About the Team Tesla is seeking talented writing and editing students who are interested in the field of Content Editing and Technical Writing. The Service Engineering exists uniquely at the intersection of firmware/hardware design, service, diagnostics, manufacturing, quality and reliability. Service Engineering multiplies efforts of service in the areas of diagnostics, repairs and maintenance, while simultaneously reducing the need for each. As a Service Engineering Technical Editor Intern, you will partner with engineering teams to create and refine diagnostic procedures and documentation for use by non-engineers. You will improve editorial and visual standards for documentation and recommend new designs, layouts and formatting as needed. What You'll Do
