What to Expect
The Failure Analysis Team's mission is todetermineroot cause&contributing factors to improve the experience of Tesla's products by reducing field issues; in collaboration withalarge cross-section of other engineering teams. Engineers&Technicians on the teamare responsible fora wide variety of vehicle&energy product systems for existing models and modelsin development. This is a high visibility individual contributor role that includes extensive hands-on work focused on failure analysis&rootcause activities. We are seeking an experienced engineering technician who will support all aspects of identifying&characterizing failureson our low voltageelectronics. The successful candidate will work directly with other Failure Analysis Engineers to perform debug, rework,&root cause analysis on infotainment systems, low voltage controllers,&autopilot electronics. The successful candidate will be experienced working in a supporting role in an electrical development lab. They will need to be intimately familiar with the use of all common electrical test&measurement equipment. The candidate will need to perform rework&measurement on PCBAs usingextremely small components. As such they will need to have excellent fine motorskills&soldering skills on SMDcomponents. $24.40 - $56.40/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
